About: How our story begins. In the year 2000, when John and Viv Turner installed a solar thermal (hot water) system on the roof of their new barn conversion. They were so impressed that they formed the company that has grown to become Celtic Renewable Energy Ltd, so converting their hitherto keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability into a fully-fledged business.
Here is a short video about our company and a sneak peek into our entirely “off grid” office
Our company, now operating from off-grid premises, specialises in the design and installation of a broad range of highly efficient renewable energy systems that incorporate Solar Thermal, Solar PV (electricity), Log and Wood Pellet burning boilers and stoves and Air Source Heat Pump technologies. Over the years we have helped many hundreds of householders reduce their carbon footprint and their energy bills. Our client list also includes organisations such The National Trust, The University of Exeter, Newquay and Paignton Zoo, and Devon and Cornwall Police and Fire and Rescue Services.
An installation from Celtic Renewable Energy can help you minimise your carbon emissions and also provide you with a cost effective addition to your home or business.
We offer a fully comprehensive service – from the initial Quick Quote, FREE survey and full system design, through to installation and commissioning using our own teams of installation technicians. Our technicians are time-served tradesmen, fully trained in all the technologies we offer and are endorsed by the Government Trust Mark
Our company is supported and regulated by the Renewable Energy Consumer Code http://www.recc.org.uk/ and is Microgeneration Certification Scheme Accredited – which means our customers can benefit from payments through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and the Feed in Tariff (FiT).
